Internships
The Cal Performances internship program offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and job skills in preparation for a career in arts administration. Interns will learn about the various departments and expertise that comprise a performing arts organization, and will support our work of presenting world renowned artists in one of the nation's most artistically diverse performing arts presenters. During their participation in the program, interns will work with a staff mentor on projects specific to their areas of interest. Because our work is collaborative, the intern will also work with many other staff members and build upon their overall understanding of our operations as well as build upon their professional network.
Cal Performances seeks applicants who have a strong interest and education in the performing arts, particularly in dance, theater and/or music. Successful applicants should possess the desire to promote an appreciation for the performing arts, as well as the skills listed on the internship description for which they are applying.
